Product Overview
Sodium hypochlorite is a high-efficiency broad-spectrum disinfectant and oxidizing bleaching agent with strong sterilization, deodorization, algae removal and degradation functions. It appears pale yellow transparent liquid with slight chlorine odor, fully soluble in water, widely used in water treatment, public health disinfection, food industry, medical sanitation, textile bleaching and industrial cleaning fields.
Disinfection Principle
When sodium hypochlorite dissolves in water, it dissociates to produce hypochlorous acid (HClO) and hypochlorite ions (ClO⁻). Hypochlorous acid is the core disinfecting component, which can penetrate the cell membrane of bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms, destroy their enzyme systems and nucleic acids (DNA/RNA), inhibit the metabolic process of microorganisms, and ultimately kill them quickly. At the same time, hypochlorous acid can also oxidize and decompose organic pollutants, odor-causing substances and algae, achieving the dual effects of disinfection and purification.
